HTC, a big name in mobile industry has introduced another affordable Android Smartphone the HTC Wildfire S by redesigning its predecessor the HTC Desire and HTC Wildfire. It carries the same workmanlike black and chrome look as seen in the excellent HTC Desire.
The onscreen QWERTY keyboard is viable for texting input. There are no physical buttons on the front of the phone, with HTC opting for four capacitive touch-buttons. These are four buttons below the screen are standard Android Home, Menu, Back and Search options.
The lack of optical trackpad makes the Wildfire S a little shorter than last year's model. It's a very tiny phone and also manages to be lighter - 105g versus the original's 118g.
Though the vibrant 3.2-inch screen runs at 320x480 resolutions is not as sharp as of other expensive Smartphones. However it is very responsive and with a lightest of the touch it gets the work done. With the physical dimensions as 101.3 x 59.4 x 12.4mm and weight t 105g is very sleek and tiny phone. Its tiny size gives it an elegant look as it beautifully redesigned. With the moulded rubber cover it is not slippery and feels pretty solid in hand.
The new HTC Sense offers a holistic experience means by simply making things work the way they should. With our News app, choose what websites or blogs you want to hear from, and then have their latest news delivered right to the palm of your hand.
HTC Wildfire S is a great and stylish Smartphone organizes calls and messages by people, not applications. The new application Friend Stream let you to see all your friends' Facebook updates, Tweets and Flickr photos on the same screen. You can scroll up and down within this app, so it's all there right in front of you on a Home screen. If you want to update your own profiles, you can change them all in one go. When someone calls you, your Caller ID doesn't just tell you their name and number any more - it tells you useful stuff like their Facebook status and birthday date, too.
