Why these iPod Lines

Actually its quit obvious as CNet mentioned in their report about the subject, The iPod classic has a lot of similarities to the Original iPod that’s has been around for 10 years now and it’s still using the platter-based hard drive and Apple now is turning to flash-based memory solutions  Also the Shuffle is basically a Nano minus the touchscreen. And if this happened all the iPod lines have touchscreens and maybe that’s what’s the iPod needs right now.

What about The iPod touch line and the Nano line

Now, the ipod touch is expected to have an update to its line in the next media event on October 4th. There were rumors about a 3G capable iPod. The Nano if  the classic and the shuffle got killed will be the low end line but so far there is no news about a price cut.

So do you think this is a right move by Apple? And would you miss the iPod Classic or the Shuffle?
